Environmental Policy

At Furniture North East, we are committed to sustainable operations and a greener future. We actively pursue eco-friendly product selections, incorporating net-zero, recycled, and sustainable materials. While we acknowledge the environmental impact of some of our work, we take a responsible and ethical approach to manage it proactively. This includes identifying environmental impacts, implementing processes to prevent, reduce, and mitigate them innovatively, and regularly reviewing our practices to improve our environmental footprint.

Our Goals Include

  • Minimising greenhouse gas emissions through investments in better buildings, efficient vehicles, and reducing site visits when feasible.

  • Reducing primary raw material consumption by prioritising sustainable materials and recycling.

  • Encouraging sustainable travel practices for our staff.

  • Minimising waste production by promoting reuse, recycling, and recovery.

  • Considering sustainability in our procurement of goods and services.

  • Complying with legal requirements and other obligations.

  • Setting, monitoring, and reviewing objectives to demonstrate continuous improvement.
